Ancora United

Have you ever heard of Ancora United? Well if you haven't you are going to hear about them right now... Of course if you have heard of them... good job! Ancora United is an attire company based right here in Billings Montana! Their mission statement: keeping you anchored to what matters while presenting yourself to the world. Supporting Ancora United Attire is supporting the youth. Sounds good to me! Ancora United donates to Scholarship AMERICA, which is an organization built to fund college scholarships. They also donate to The Tom Sims legacy fund which is a program that helps give underprivaleged youth the chance to get outside and see the great outdoors! Plus with such great models such as Mercy and Wills Pitcher ( If you go to Senior High you know who they are) What's not to like!  Now tell me what is better than a clothing company that supports scholarship programs AND underprivaleged youth!

Go Boho

Apparently when I picked out my outfit last night I was in a bohemian mood because I don't usually dress like this, but I like it... a lot. I pretty much took every bracelet in the house and tied a scarf on my head then ta da! I look like I could be a gypsy (Yea, I did have some one tell me that in the hall today...)  With all the attention I was getting I figured I should post it!

The complete look...

if you want to do the scarf wrap there are some really good tutorials on pinterest

Put a Little Spring in Your Step!

I am very sorry it has been so long since my last post. According to the stats though it really didn't matter because no one really looked at it anyway. :) Well I am pleased to tell you that tonight I have my first ever fashion post! Welcome to spring in Montana! Today it was in the 60's with a lot of cold wind! The warmest day we have had in a while! Yup, that's right when you live in Montana short shorts are definetly not the way to go. So just in case you are a little stuck on how to look cute in your warm weather clothes without freezing to death...here are some ideas on how to put a little spring in your step and your wardrobe! :)

I just found this adorable lace top at a thrift store this weekend but unfortunatly it is a tanktop so of course the only appropriate way to wear it was with chambray!! paired with a cute pair of jeans and a pair of alligator flats and viola! a fabulous spring outfit... this look also looks good when paired with shorts over tights...

One of my favorite articles of clothing is a cute simple dress and if you just throw an oversized shirt over it; it instantly becomes ten times warmer! thick leggings are also good especially if you have to walk to school! :)

Spring jackets are also super important! You need something that is thick enough to keep you warm in the chilly mornings but thin enough to stuff in a bag later in the day! This coat in particular has an extra layer on the inside that can be removed for later in the season!

Have no fear boot season is still here! and these lace up steam punk boots are absolutly perfect! Truth be told I stole these from my sister but I couldn't help myself! They are just thin enough that the don't get to hot and sweaty and still warm enough to keep my toes warm! plus they have a little heal so they add some height for those of us who are a little on the small side ;)
